Legge and Rayhall will run the full 2016 IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship. The will be joined by Meyrick in the North American Endurance Cup.

A new livery will adorn the unique machine, one reminiscent of the Panoz Spirit of America LMP1 Roadster. "This new livery represents Panoz continued focus as a U.S.-based designer and manufacturer of exclusive luxury sports cars with a truly successful motorsports heritage," a release from the team read.

The DeltaWing squad hopes to build on the improvements made towards the end of 2015 after battling several reliability issues throughout the season, finishing three races and ending the season eighth in the prototype standings.

“I believe this will be a standout season for Panoz DeltaWing Racing," commented Legge. "The team have worked so hard and I think we will be able to show what we are capable of. We are all focused on building from the impressive speed we showed at the November Daytona test.”

“I’m extremely excited to sign on with Panoz DeltaWing Racing for the year," said newcomer Rayhall. "The team were excellent when I tested with them back in November and I think it will be a great fit! I’m very grateful for the opportunity Dr Panoz has given me.”

“I love racing in America and based on the car we had at the November test I'm hopeful this season we will be competitive and back on the podium," Meyrick said. "I would love to see this happen not just for myself but for Dr Panoz and the team as they all work so hard and deserve a better year.”
