DALLAS – Patrick Lindsey will co-drive with emerging young sports car road racing talent Kévin Estre in the No. 73 Park Place Motorsports Porsche GT3 America in next year’s debuting IMSA TUDOR Sports Car Championship.

The Lindsey/Estre announcement finalizes both GTD (GT Daytona) entries for the second-year Park Place Motorsports team that confirmed reigning Rolex 24 At Daytona and GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series GX Champion Dr. Jim Norman in the team’s No. 71 entry less than a month ago. Norman’s co-driver will be announced in the coming weeks.

Lindsey earned podium finishes in this year’s GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series GT division at Road Atlanta, Road America and Kansas Speedway co-driving the No. 73 with Porsche factory driver Patrick Long.

“I am extremely blessed to be part of this amazing team of talented people," Lindsey said. "To have Park Place with us again, to have Jim Norman in our No. 71 car and now to partner up with Kévin Estre in the No. 73 makes me feel like the season can't start soon enough! We did well for a young team in 2013 and we're looking to carry our momentum into the 2014 season. The GTD field is a strong one and this Park Place team will need to be perfect to have a shot at winning races.”

Just 25-years-old, Estre still brings ample Porsche experience to the Park Place team. A native Frenchman who currently lives in Germany, Estre was runner-up in the 2012 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup Series and Rookie of the Year in the German Porsche Cup, earning a race win in each championship that season.

Estre dominated the 2011 Porsche Matmut Carrera Cup in France with 10 victories and 10 poles to take the championship. That same year he earned Rookie of the Year honors in the Porsche Mobil1 Supercup Series, with one victory, three podiums and two poles. He has also competed in each of the last two runnings of both the Rolex 24 at Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring in Porsches.

“I'm really happy to join Park Place and Patrick Lindsey for the IMSA TUDOR SportsCar in 2014 in GTD,” Estre said. “It's going to be a great championship with a high level of teams and drivers. I'm really excited and want to be fast in January to drive in Daytona with the new car!”

Park Place is top five in new car sales and the number one used Porsche dealer in the nation and has carried their "experts in excellence" emphasis and attitude straight to the Park Place Motorsports team just this past racing season. Additional partners from this year’s successful campaign are also expected to return in 2014 for the balance of the racing season.

John Horton, a leading engineer in the motorsports industry and an ASE Master Technician, will lead the technical effort on both the No. 71 and No. 73 Porsches. The former IndyCar crew chief has been in racing for over 20 years and more recently led and managed racing teams in ALMS, GRAND-AM and World Challenge.
