GT Le Mans

Billy Johnson currently leads in the #68 Ford GT, but he’s being increasingly threatened by teammate Ryan Briscoe in the #67 car which has come pretty much back on strategy at the end of Hour 7.

Right behind the ex-IndyCar ace is Dirk Werner in the #911 Porsche, and Giancarlo Fisichella in Risi Competizione’s Ferrari 488. Eleven seconds further back runs Dirk Muller in the third Ford, and Jan Magnussen in the #3 Corvette.

The #912 Porsche was taken out of the equation soon past half-distance with shock absorber issues that have left it three laps down.

Prototype

Christian Fittipaldi leads overall in the #5 Action Express car but Ricky Taylor has hung back to complete an extra lap in each stint, clearly looking for a “friendly” caution period.

Third still is the JDC/Miller Oreca driven by Chris Miller, but now just a lap clear of the much-delayed #31 AXR Cadillac.

Prototype Challenge is led by Pato O’Ward, who is fifth overall for Performance Tech Motorsports, Garett Grist being his nearest challenger in the Starworks machine.

GT Daytona

Ben Keating leads in the #33 Mercedes-AMG GT3 of Riley Motorsports, chased hard by Matteo Cressoni in the #63 Scuderia Corsa Ferrari 488, and Rolf Ineichen in Grasser Racing’s Lamborghini.

Christopher Mies is driving the #29 Land-Motorsport well, with Bryan Sellers steering the Paul Miller Racing Lamborghini Huracan into fifth.
