Sebring, Fla. - With just three hours left to go at Sebring, things have calmed down as Action Express checks out with a full lap advantage over their closest rival, Chip Ganassi Racing. The No. 90 VisitFlorida.com Corvette DP sits third.
More prototypes drop out of the race
The past three hours have been very unventful compared to the previous six, but we did see a rash of retirements. Mazda and ESM have retired both their cars, and you can read more about ESM's issues HERE. Michael Shank Racing has officially retired the No. 60 as well.
Notable incidents
While running fourth, the No. 4 Corvette slowed and eventually came to a stop, quickly resetting the system and getting back into the race. Krohn's rough day got a little worse when they went for a spin and had to wait for the traffic to pass before getting it turned back around.
The Alex Job Racing No. 23 Porsche was one of the top GTD cars the entire race until a shredded right rear tire ripped the bumper off and the driver was forced to limp back to the pits.
Other class leaders
In PC, the No. 52 Mathiasen Motorsports ORECA continues to lead the way, 20 seconds clear of the No. 54 CORE Autosport entry.
Porsche has tightened their grip on GTLM, now running 1-2 with the No. 911 towing the No. 912. The No. 3 Corvette follows in third. TRG-Aston is flexing their muscles in GTD, holding court up front ahead of the No. 22 Alex Job Racing Porsche and the No. 33 Riley Viper.
