Chennai III MRF F1600: Anand controls Race 3
Vikash Anand took win in the final MRF F1600 race of the Chennai weekend, beating Anindidth Reddy by over three seconds.

Starting from pole, Anand took a lights-to-flag victory finishing 3.911s ahead of Reddy in Race 3, in the penultimate round of the championship.
Anand controlled the race at ease with no pressure from Reddy, while Raghul Rangasamy finished third after Sandeep Kumar had to pit dropping him from the podium fight.
Karthik Tharani was the man on charge notching up a fourth place, having started from last, as the grid was set according to the second best times from qualifying, in which Tharani had a crash.
Abhinay Bikkani finished fifth after running as high as in third, with Tejas Ram sixth and Arjun Narendran seventh.
The top 10 was completed by Jai Sampath Kumar in eighth, Anshul Shah ninth and Biren Pithawalla 10th - the latter continuing his good showing on his debut weekend.
