Anindith Reddy kept Ananth Shanmugam at bay in a race-long duel to take his second consecutive win in the third round of Euro JK series at Coimbatore.

At the start of Race 2, Shanmugam got a better getaway from the front-row, but was unable to pass polesitter Reddy, who had the inside line heading into turn 1.

However, the futile attempt did little to deter Shanmugam, who kept the pressure on Reddy for the rest of the race.

The duo made light contact with two laps to go, which effectively settled the fight in favour of the Hyderabad-based driver.

Shanmugam, however, would be content with a second place finish, given his championship rival Nayan Chatterjee finished outside the podium for the second race in a row.

The Mumbaikar was right on the tail of Mohammed Nalwalla for the latter stages of the race in a repeat of Race 1, but was unable to stick a move over the birthday-boy.

Behind, Ajay Kini won a three-way fight involving Karthik Tharani and Dhruv Mohite to finish in fifth place.

Further back, Karminder Singh was classified eighth, with Manav Sharma and Chittesh Mandody completing the top-10.

Akash Gowda was the only non-classified finisher, having retired after 12 laps.
