JDC MOTORSPORTS SEEKING SECOND CONSECUTIVE TROIS-RIVIERES WIN

Minnesota-based squad enters Round 10 of the Star Mazda Championship with three street circuit wins already in its record books

MINNEAPOLIS, MN. (August 11, 2010) - JDC MotorSports' returns to 'La Belle Province' this weekend (August 14-15), seeking to add another win on the streets of Trois-Rivieres to its racing resume during Round 10 of the Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear. With 2010 race winner Caio Lara and Rookie of the Year candidates Connor De Phillippi and Chris Miller getting behind the wheels, the Minnesota-based team has three drivers more than capable of winning a second consecutive race on the challenging Quebec street circuit.

Since joining the Star Mazda Championship in 2006, JDC MotorSports has showed it has the talent both in and out of the cockpit to excel on a variety of courses. This has been particularly evident during the series limited street circuit outings, with JDC winning three times and finishing on the podium seven times, most recently on the streets of St. Petersburg in Round Two with Lara's third place result.

Lara however has since taken the next step in his development as driver, winning Round Six in New Jersey. When combined with his continued run of top-10 finishes - 20 in 22 races including all nine in 2010 - the No. 19 MLD/ATW/Molecule/Red Line Oil/JDC MotorSports race pilot enters the Trois-Rivieres event as not only a potential race winner, but also poised to build on his current third place ranking in the championship chase.

De Phillippi might not have the experience of Lara behind the wheel of a Star Mazda, but that certainly has not stopped the highly-rated teenager from making his mark during his rookie campaign. With five top-five results already on his Star Mazda resume - including one at the lone previous street circuit this season in St. Petersburg, Fla. - the 2009 Skip Barber National series champion is more than capable of steering the No. 11 MAZDASPEED Motorsports Development/Justice Brothers/Sparco/Rock View Farms/Oakley/Power Balance/Reline Athletic/Red Line Oil/JDC MotorSports entry into victory lane in Quebec.

For Miller, the historic street circuit will be another opportunity to further expand his driving knowledge base and show the skills that led him to the F2000 Championship Series title last year. Returning to the cockpit of the No. 85 Miller Milling/Red Line Oil/JDC MotorSports car, the Minnesota-native looks set to improve on his season-best result of seventh in front of the always large and enthusiastic Trois-Rivieres crowd.
