Friday Provisional Qualifying
Tony Kanaan, #44 McDonald's Honda-Reynard:
"The team did a great job, and the car was very good. Unfortunately we couldn't duplicate what we did in practice this morning. (Kanaan was quickest in the morning session.) I had traffic on both of my fast laps. It's frustrating. I think my fastest lap would have put us in the top-five. The good news is that we still have another chance tomorrow."
