Tony Kanaan, #44 McDonald's Honda-Reynard - Qualified 8th:

"We made an improvement in the car today and the track was better as well. We saved one set of tires which is good for the race. On the second set, I didn't take the most out of the car. This track is so long that it is so easy to make one mistake and screw up the whole lap. Every single lap that was a good one, I made a mistake in a different place. At the end, when I got my fastest lap, my tires were already gone at that point.

"Today there was nothing wrong with the car. It was me. I had to try to be perfect those two laps and that's why I'm so upset about it. We had a car to be top five today. I made a mistake and that's hard for me to accept. I guess that's part of the learning curve. You can always learn and today is a good example."
