Tony Kanaan, #44 McDonald's Honda-Reynard - Finished 6th:

"We had a very good car and I believe that if we would have started a little bit further up, we could have finished in the top five. I had good passes a couple of times. I tried to get Michael the whole race. I couldn't do it but we had a lot of fun and he played very clean, and so did Paul and Greg. I would consider this one of my best races of the year even though it wasn't one of our best results. I'm excited. I learned a lot and I can use that in the future.

"I think Australia put on one of our best shows of the year. I think CART and the people from Australia should be really happy, and Honda to put on an event like this. This weekend was 100 percent -- no big accidents and a very good show for the people and that's what we're here for."
