Champ Car and Corona Announce New Incentive Program

As proud sponsor of the Corona Forsythe Racing team and driver Rodolfo Lavin, Cerveceria Modelo S.A. de C.V. ("Corona") is pleased to announce extending its participation in the Bridgestone Presents the Champ Car World Series Powered by Ford.

In recognition of the immense popularity of Champ Car racing in Mexico, and in recognition of the great personal commitment of OWRS owners Gerald Forsythe, Kevin Kalkhoven and Paul Gentilozzi to Champ Car, North America's premier open wheel racing series, and in support of this highest level of racing competition in Mexico, Corona is pleased and honored to announce a new and prestigious award for the Champ Car World Series specifically relating to the two hugely successful Champ Car Grand Prix races in Monterrey and Mexico City.

As the fans, teams and drivers count down to the start of the Champ Car World Series Grand Prix of Monterrey Mexico 2004, Corona announces 'The Corona Cup'.

'The Corona Cup' is a cash prize of a One Hundred Thousand US Dollar ($100,000) which will be awarded to the Champ Car World Series driver who wins the most points on aggregate from the two Mexican Champ Car World Series races of 2004 in Monterrey and Mexico City. Additionally, Corona will present the winning driver with a significant personal trophy to mark the achievement.

The winning driver, regardless of nationality or team affiliation, will be presented 'The Corona Cup' trophy at Mexico City, and the $100,000 cash prize will be awarded to the winning driver of 'The Corona Cup' at the end of season Champ Car Awards Banquet.

As a proud Mexican company delivering a premium product to its customers throughout North America and around the world, Corona is pleased and honored to make this Mexican award available to drivers of all nations and teams in the Champ Car World Series.
