Graham Rahal Foundation will host its third annual Drivers Tournament
Event benefits Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer and SeriousFun Children’s Network

Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing IndyCar driver Graham Rahal (above) announced that the Graham Rahal Foundation will host its third annual Drivers Tournament benefiting Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer and SeriousFun Children’s Network.
The golf tournament will be held on Wednesday, May 21, in advance of the 98th running of the Indianapolis 500. The event takes place at Brickyard Crossing Golf Course located within the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Speedway, Ind. Platinum sponsors of the tournament, which will feature Rahal and fellow IndyCar drivers, include Firestone, TranSystems, OneAmerica® and Deltran Battery Tender.
Continental breakfast at the course and registration will begin at 8 a.m. ET, followed by a shotgun start at 9 a.m. ET. Participants will be able to enter various competitions held in conjunction with the tournament for prizes, including hole-in-one, longest drive and closest to the pin contests. A silent auction for IndyCar memorabilia and entertainment experiences will also be held. Following the tournament, there will be an awards ceremony and recognition lunch.
Rahal’s passion for helping children with medical conditions combined with his interest in golf through the inaugural Drivers Tournament hosted by the Graham Rahal Foundation in 2012. Since then, the event has become the foundation’s largest yearly-fundraiser and has generated over $300,000 for children’s charities.

The Graham Rahal Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization founded by Graham Rahal. The Foundation is dedicated to helping children with medical conditions, a cause that was important to Rahal’s former race team owner and friend, the late actor and philanthropist Paul Newman. Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of cancer patient Alexandra “Alex” Scott (1996-2004). In 2000, 4-year-old Alex announced that she wanted to hold a lemonade stand to raise money to help find a cure for all children with cancer. Since Alex held that first stand, the Foundation bearing her name has evolved into a national fundraising movement, complete with thousands of supporters across the country carrying on her legacy of hope. To date, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a registered 501(c)3 charity, has raised more than $75 million toward fulfilling Alex’s dream of finding a cure, funding over 375 pediatric cancer research projects nationally. SeriousFun Children's Network is a growing global community of 30 camps and programs serving children with serious illnesses and their families, always free of charge. Founded by Paul Newman in 1988, SeriousFun has served more than 440,000 children and families from more than 50 countries. Each member camp is an independent, not-for-profit organization dependent upon private funding to serve all children at no cost to their families.
