IRL: Galles Racing Richmond race report

Al Unser Jr.:

"What can I say, I am just so proud of the entire Galles Racing team. We worked hard together all night with our race strategy and we brought it home.

"I had a great time out there tonight. Richmond International Raceway is the tightest race track that I have been on in years. I was driving my tail off all night long. This is a great track and I am excited to come back next year.

"Working with my teammate Didier Andre has been a pleasure. We have worked very well with each other on comparing set-ups, and tonight it truly paid off. The Galles Racing team has really come together with our two car effort. We have good mechanics that are here because they choose to be here and because they are some of the best in the business.

"Our three car effort earlier in the year slowed us down a bit, but now we are in a good groove and we just need to keep working hard to get these top finishes."

Didier Andre:

"I am very happy about our 4th place finish tonight. The team worked very hard together this weekend and my car was very good tonight. The track changed a lot tonight and I was able to work with the car throughout the race.

"We lost our radio early in the race, so there was virtually no communication between myself and the team. This was a great night for Al Unser Jr. and myself and the entire Galles team and now we will just go to Kansas and try for another top finish."
