The 2001 IROC series will begin at the Daytona International Speedway on February 16th. Other races include Talladega on April 21st, Michigan on June 9th, and concluding at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on August 4th. Last season, leading seven laps at the season finale in Indianapolis highlighted Dismore's IROC campaign. However, with a season's worth of experience in the heavier IROC cars, Dismore expects to be much more competitive.

"I'm very excited to be invited back to IROC. It's one of racing's greatest privileges, and I'm proud to represent the Northern Light Series again," said Dismore. I think my experience last year will be invaluable. Last year the NASCAR guys didn't know me and I didn't know the cars or most of the tracks. This year I know how to save the tires, know the tracks better, and know the driving style needed for success in these cars. I feel much better going into this season's IROC Championship than at the same time last year."
