Juncos Racing reveals IndyCar livery for 2018

Juncos Racing, which made its IndyCar Series debut in last year’s Indianapolis 500, has revealed the car to be shared by reigning Indy Lights champion Kyle Kaiser and Rene Binder this season.

Both rookies will share the #32 Juncos Racing-Chevrolet entry, with Binder racing at St. Petersburg, Barber Motorsports Park Toronto and Mid-Ohio, and Kaiser taking the wheel at Phoenix, Long Beach, the Indianapolis Grand Prix and the 102nd Running of the Indianapolis 500.

Team owner Ricardo Juncos said: “We are happy to continue with the colors that represent our team. The shade of green we use really stands out among the field. It is an eye-catcher not only on our cars, but in our pit as well.

“Last year an aerial shot of the Indianapolis 500 showed how much we stood out with our green being highly visible on track and among the fans wearing our gear and our crew in the pits.

"These designs and colors will help us maintain that statement this year and I look forward to seeing our car on track for the first time this year at Phoenix today.”

A team statement revealed Binder will carry Binderholz – a timber production company – as primary sponsor, while Kaiser will feature Juncos Racing “until sponsorship has been secured.”

Three of Kaiser’s races – including the Indy 500 – are part of his prize from the Mazda Road To Indy for clinching the Indy Lights title.

The American will make his IndyCar debut at Phoenix on Friday in the rookie test, prior to the Open Test for all 2018 competitors.
