Lennar and AutoNation are bringing The Yellow Party to Indianapolis. In an effort to raise money for cancer and early detection awareness, there will be a get-together at The Crane Bay that will be hosted by Ryan and Beccy Hunter-Reay, founders of Racing For Cancer.

This year, Racing For Cancer, The Little Red Door Cancer Agency and The Indy Family Foundation will be beneficiaries of net proceeds of the event. The Little Red Door helps less fortunate cancer patients in the greater Indianapolis area while the Indy Family Foundation helps members of the motorsport community that are in financial need due to injury, illness or death, regardless of being a driver or a crew member or corner worker.

The event will include a live and silent auction on various items, including Pippa Mann’s driver suit worn in the 2013 Indianapolis 500 and racing gloves autographed by Justin Wilson and Ana Beatriz. The last Yellow Party was in Long Beach and saw Ryan Hunter-Reay model a gown that sold for over $15,000.

Indy 500 drivers are invited to attend, and those confirmed to be there include Ryan Briscoe, Alex Tagliani, Ed Carpenter, Scott Dixon and Pippa Mann, among others. Beccy Hunter-Reay was glad for their support in committing to attend the party.

"Having the support of fellow IndyCar drivers and the racing community as a whole means the world to Ryan and I. Our small foundation, Racing For Cancer, has big dreams and we are trying to make them reality, thanks to AutoNation and all our sponsors and supporters,” Hunter-Reay said.

Attire is cocktail party (and yellow!) and VIP tickets are $228. VIP tickets get you into the VIP reception from 6:00-7:00 with the drivers with admission to the main event from 7:00-10:00. A general admission ticket is $128 and American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover are accepted for online ticket orders. Paypal is not accepted.

The Crane Bay is located at 551 W Merrill Street just north of I70. The next Yellow Party will be in Houston on June 26th at the AutoNation Mercedes-Benz of Greenway.

And, as a reminder from Beccy, “Early detection is key. If you feel you have something going on, please get it checked!"
