Engineer Dave Buschemeyer Joins O2 Racing for 2011 Season

October 20, 2010. Indianapolis, IN - O2 Racing Technology is pleased to announce that, effective immediately, it has secured the services of race engineer Dave Buschemeyer for the 2011 Indy Lights season. With a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and 13 years of engineering experience in Indy Lights, IndyCar, CART/Champ Car, and Atlantics, Dave has worked with Sam Hornish Jr, Kenny Brack, Max Papis, Tomas Sheckter, Paul Tracy, AJ Allmendinger, Rafael Matos, James Hinchcliffe, Greg Mansell, and Takuma Sato. In addition to his overall experience engineering with Indy Lights, Dave provides O2 Racing with an unparalleled level of expertise in suspension, chassis modeling and simulation, and vehicle dynamics.

Team Owner, Mark Olson states:

"I'd like to be the first to welcome Dave to the team. Along with the recent addition of engineer Dave McMillan to the team and the continued relationship with Thomas Knapp, we've been able to make some key hires early in the off season that will dramatically improve our already formidable bench strength. 2011 looks to be one of the most competitive seasons ever, with all the top drivers from around the world coming to compete for the Indy Lights championship and the chance to move up to IndyCar. I can't think of a more talented group of guys, all focused on building a program that is bigger than themselves individually. The team chemistry combined with the engineering expertise has O2 Racing poised to be one of the premiere teams for 2011 and beyond."
