From an early age, Ruben's life was all about sports. However, despite being a member of the local soccer and tennis club, it soon became clear that he would never be able to pursue a career as a professional athlete himself. So he decided to go into sports journalism. After studying in Hamburg, he worked as a freelancer for various companies, including Motorsport-Total.com, to which he has remained loyal since 2014. After reporting on the DTM and MotoGP for a while, his focus is now back on Formula 1, which once sparked his enthusiasm for motorsports. He has also made a name for himself in recent years as a commentator on the MotoGP broadcasts on Eurosport and later on DAZN.
