"This was my first time here at Atlanta Motor Speedway and it is a great track. I had a lot of fun running around here. I was definitely more comfortable here than any other track we ran this year. It also says a lot for the IROC team who put together a car that would allow a rookie like me here at Atlanta to run at a very strong pace so quickly."

"The race was very competitive, there were a lot of side-by-side right into the turns with them being so wide. It felt great to lead the race for four laps and run in a competitive manner. I had lots of fun pushing Mark Martin to the top, that was great racing! I was top four on both restarts, but unfortunately my car was very tight and I couldn't run high towards the end of the race."

"I'm very honored to be part of the IROC family. I really enjoyed every lap I did this year and I hope I can get the call to come back. I would like to thank Jay and Barb Signore for giving me this opportunity. Overall it has been a very steep learning curve coming out of an open wheel car and jumping to something like this. As an overall experience, for any driver this is a rare opportunity. Very seldom in your life to you get to be on the track with 11 champion drivers. But also important to me is that no matter what, I have great memories of this IROC season to think about over the winter."
