Max Jet Team Shatters Many Records

Montreal, August 10th 2004. -- Kart racing team Max Jet clinched the Rotax Max Senior - Bombardier provincial title last weekend in Saint-Hilaire, where the sixth of eight rounds in the Coupe de Montreal championship was held. By the same token, the team earned a birth in the national final that will take place in Chilliwack, British Columbia from the 20 to the 22nd of August, where the National championships will be held.

After six races and as many podiums finishes since the beginning of the season, Max Jet team has helped both of its top senior drivers, Jean-Francois Valour and Luc Sauriol, to the first ranks in the standings. "With his victory last weekend, Luc (Sauriol) has passed J-F (Valour) for the first place, said a smiling Ronald Arsenault, Max Jet team owner. Newly arrived with the team, driver Maxime Longtin made pole position in the same category but he was punted off the track in the final heat, putting an end to any podium chance.

Max Jet to B.C.

With such fantastic results, Max Jet will deservingly head out to Chilliwack, B.C. where the 2004 Canadian national championships will be held on August the 22nd. The finale will give Max Jet drivers another chance to qualify for the World Rotax Max-Bombardier finals that will be staged in the Canary Islands in January 2005.

"Our team finished in second place last year in Mosport, added one of the official drivers, Jean-Francois Valour, giving us the chance to go to Egypt for the world finals. However, we were not able to step on the podium over there."

Another super weekend in Max Junior

Max Jet racing team has been working with young Nicolas Suarez-Novack, definitely a talented driver, for his last outings in the Max Junior class. Racing a Rotax engine machine, young Suarez-Novack got top honors again after starting from the front row of the final grid. With some advice and strategy from the team, Nicolas was able to finish in second place in the final heat.

Max Jet racing team is supported by ISAAC, a data acquisition system, Max Jet, PSL Racing team and CRG chassis.
