ANOTHER GREAT WEEKEND FOR SSC EAST
"Race win and podiums added to teams results"

Jupiter, Florida -- February 18, 2008 -- The powerhouse SSC East operation had another outstanding weekend at the second round of the Formula Kart Productions Florida Winter Tour (FWT). Taking home a victory and several podium results from Moroso Motorsports Park, SSC East will look to carry their success from the Rotax weekend into the CIK portion of the racing action this coming week.

Scoring two solid results in the Rotax Junior class was the talented Daniel Vela. The CRG driver took home the victory on Saturday before scoring a sixth place finish on Sunday. Combined with the opening round results from Homestead, Vela currently sits third in the Rotax Junior point's race. Joining Vela in the top fifteen was SSC teammate Jarvis Gennari, who was able to put together runs to sixth and 12th over the double event weekend format.

Four more top five results came from Joey Collins in Rotax DD2 and Victor Pedrosa in Rotax Senior. Collins scored two third place podium results after threatening for the win in both Saturday and Sunday's action while Victor Pedrosa came home fourth and fifth in the ultra competitive Rotax International class. Pedrosa sits nicely in the second position in the overall chase for the championship.

SSC East also fielded two entries in the Rotax Masters category with Russell Hamel and Thomas Healy getting behind the wheel. Healy came home 16th on Saturday but managed to squeak into the top ten with a ninth pace result in Sunday's action while Hamel finished 13th and 11th.

SSC East will enjoy only a few days off before competing in the second round for CIK classes at the Florida Winter Tour this coming weekend. Stay tuned for team results after the event.
