Path Valley Kart results 2001-08-18

Spring Run, PA- With some on hand to practice and prepare for the Sunday Pennsylvania Dirt Karter's Association (PDKA) state championship series race the following day, 106 kart and quad riders raced at Path Valley Speedway Park August 18.

Ashley Reisinger in her #4 Jr. Sportsman I kart won her first race ever ahead of a field of 12. Next Saturday's races for karts and four-wheelers are double points. The points races conclude Sept. 8.

Karts and four-wheelers race every Saturday afternoon with gates open at 11 a.m. Stock cars and sprints race every Friday night, and sprints and Legends race every Saturday night. Special Sunday shows include a 200-lap Enduro August 26 and a Junk Car Race Sept. 2.

The Path Valley Speedway Park is located in Spring Run PA a mile north on PA Route 641 from the intersection with PA Route 75, halfway between Port Royal and Hagerstown. It is five miles east from the Willow Hill Exit 14 of the PA Turnpike off Route 75.
