Springboro, Ohio based Kartshop, Precision Karting Products joined forces in 2000 with well known Championship Engine Builder, Yellowfin Performance Engines. This merger was followed by the re-introduction of the Energy line of chassis to North America less than a year later.

Yellowfin/PKP has a long history of driver development, with the list of drivers whose first Championship or National Victory came on Yellowfin/PKP tuned equipment including names such as Sam Hornish Jr., Danny Dileo and Nick Bussell to name a few.

In keeping with their long tradition of producing Championship winning drivers, PKP Karting is always looking for new talent. In addition to their Manufactures Cup and Gold Cup regular Scott Rettich, their Masters Class mainstay Rick Coombs and their Cadet/Jr. Sportsman driver Christian Pahud, PKP Karting has now inked a one year deal with up and coming Junior driver Casey Neal.

With his 35 years of Karting experience, Company President and Owner Gerald Whaling has a keen eye for locating talented drivers. Gerald had this to say about their current driver lineup, "I think that our drivers are some of the best Karting drivers that North America has to offer and I am very proud of them all". The PKP owner had this to say about the 2003 deal with Casey Neal, "Casey is by far the most naturally talented driver I have ever had the privilege to work with and I am really excited to have him on board for the entire 2003 season and I hope many more after that". Talking with Casey after the signing, Casey said "I am extremely happy about the new season and I feel very fortunate to be involved with such a great group of people at PKP/Yellowfin. I truly believe that together we make an incredible combination that will be tough to beat".

Yellowfin/PKP works very hard to stay at the top of their game. In order to do this, they attend all of the WKA Manufactures Cup and all Gold Cup Races, all of the Great Lakes Regional WKA races, the entire Ohio Valley Karting Association races and for 2003 they will be attending all of the East Coast and Season Finale of the Stars of Tomorrow races. With all the races they attend they are able to maintain a steadily increasing information database that inevitably works it way to all of their customers.
