Sandeen mastered the difficult P1 Kart Circuit in Tucson, AZ to score his first double victory in the '06 season.

With almost a perfect weekend scoring one pole position, two heat race and two final victories, the Checkered Flag Racing / FirstKart.com pilot takes over the Western and National points lead as he looks to secure the overall series title. Joining Sandeen in the Spec Racer class was CFR's Nicholas Fairney, Arly Irish and Billy Leninger who all came home with some very strong results. Fairney worked hard all weekend coming home with a podium position on Sunday to back up Saturday's 6th place result. Billy Leninger also had two top ten results with a 6th and a 10th while young Arly Irish came home in 13th and 17th.

Also competing with George Fellner power was Ontario, Canada's Eric Gerrits. The reigning Rotax Senior Canadian National Champion scored a 5th place result on Saturday and was taken out of contention while battling for a podium result on Sunday.
