Summit Point, WV-Preston Peltier extremely fast with Allkart debut. Within the first few laps on the track, the CKT race team had the new Allkart up to speed and then some.

Peltier caught the attention of the Italian kart manufacturer when he set the track record at the New Hampshire International Speedway in June. Angelo Sodano the North American Importer and Allkart representative, arranged the deal and supplied the kart that Peltier quickly took to the front of the field in World Karting Association sprint 1. Unfortunately Peltier retired early from the event when a coil wire broke as he lead the field through turn 10.

WKA sprint 2 was an utter disappointment for the entire CKT race team, as In the last practice session Peltier once again had a coil wire break. This time Jim Perry, crew chief for the young driver, replaced the coil with a new one and prepared the kart for the next event. Just prior to being called to the grid, they changed jets and tried to fire the kart unsuccessfully. Frantically they changed coils again. Still, with the same problem they looked over all the wires as everyone left the line to start the race. Peltier never made a lap the whole race losing valuable championship points to his competitors.

Some say that Peltier is the best 125cc shifter kart road racer in the continental United States, Many more say that Jim Perry of CKT Racing Engines builds the best 125cc engines on the market today! This duo is becoming an unstoppable force in 125cc road racing. With the addition of Allkart and the hard work from the engineers at MG Tires Peltier will be seen at the front of many more races to come. "I would like to thank MG Tires for working with us to develop a better road racing tire and I think we have accomplished our goal." Peltier stated. "the chassis that I received from Allkart is working great and I look forward to the next race at Putnam Park, there's no doubt in my mind that Jim and I will have the new Allkart running at the front of the field." Fast lap of the weekend was set by Peltier at 1:20.775

Peltier is backed by Allkart, CKT Racing Engines, MG Tires, and Azzurro Wheels
