Hall sweeps three in Tenessee.
SHELBYVILLE, TN-Mark Hall, of Ward, SC, captured a trio of victories at Twin Fountains Raceway Park in Shelbyville, TN during the Robinson Speed Shop Nationals April 26-28. The 16-year-old Schu-Powered Ultramax Racing Chassis pilot began his weekend sweep with a win in the event's first feature Vickery's Speed Shop Briggs Lite where he nipped Brandon Young at the stripe by just 0.860-seconds.
"The kart was loose at the start and then after the long run it came in," Hall said after his first win. "I want to thank Dill Fabrication for a great kart and Schu Power for the most horse power out there."
Hall completed his trio of wins that Sunday taking checkered flags in Titan Karts Briggs Senior Champ and CKI Briggs Medium.
"The Ultramax Racing Chassis only needed minor adjustments all weekend and Schu Power Racing Engines are the best motors out here," Hall credited after his second win.
Four, of the 400 plus entrees, posted double wins on the 1/4-mile, 44-foot wide track. Durham, NC competitor Wayne Tilley topped Saturday's American Power Sports Briggs Senior and Sunday's Beam Dist/United Express Lines. John Memmer, of Evansville, IN, swept both Briggs Junior Sportsman-1 classes, lite and heavy; Wayne Bake, of Holland, NY, bagged Limited Medium and 4-Cycle Modified and Matt Adams, of North Wilkesboro, won Briggs Controlled Medium and defended his national points title in Briggs Controlled Heavy.
