Over the last two weeks the huge TV Compound has gone up inside the Le Mans 24-Hours circuit with its outside broadcast units, studios and its cabins for commentators.

This is where around 1 023 people work: all those who are in change of filming the Le Mans 24 Hours and the televising of the race as well the teams of reporters, commentators, consultants from all over the world, etc.

Among these 1 023 people, 263 mandated by the ACO, work on the production of live TV images, official films and what is required to meet the needs of the Le Mans 24-Hours Application and the Le Mans 24 Hours Web TV.

This year 31 different channels will broadcast the Le Mans 24 Hours live or in repeats, five more than in 2013. The blue riband event of the FIA World Endurance Championship will be aired on the small screen in 190 different countries with a potential audience of 802 187 000 TV viewers who can share the thrills of the Le Mans 24 Hours. This progression is particularly noticeable in Europe with four new channels including two in Germany plus others broadcasting in the Balkans and also in Africa.

In addition, the services of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest have accredited 104 teams of TV reporters who will complete the crews of the channels broadcasting the event as well as those who are not showing the race live, and finally the personnel of teams entered to meet their increasing needs in terms of images.

The Le Mans 24-Hours Application (see below) and the Le Mans 24 Hours Web TV visible on www.24h-lemans.com, which cover the practice sessions, the Drivers’Parade and the race complete this offer that’s as varied as it is diversified in terms of supports.
