Today a major three-year agreement with the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) has been announced outlining how Eurosport will broadcast the newly created Intercontinental Le Mans Cup, featuring Le Mans 24 Hours, for the next three seasons (2011,2012, 2013).

For the second consecutive year, British Eurosport's comprehensive coverage starts with a week-long build up to the race, with "Le Mans 24 Minutes" show each evening from Monday 6 June to Saturday 11 June. Coming LIVE from Eurosport's on-site studio at La Sarthe, the show will bring viewers interviews, analysis and all the latest news in the countdown to the race.

British Eurosport's extensive coverage also includes LIVE action from the practice sessions on Wednesday 15 June and the qualifying sessions on Thursday 16 June. Once underway the race will be shown LIVE across British Eurosport and British Eurosport 2 on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 June.

Former Formula One driver Anthony Davidson has joined last year's champions, Team Peugeot Total, to contest the prestigious LMP1 category. Peugeot will be targeting a third consecutive title as they take on firm rivals and Le Mans dominant force Audi.

German Stefan Mucke and Harold Primat of Switzerland will join forces in the British Aston Martin Racing team as part of the LMP1 category.

Tackling the race for the second time with BMW, three-time World Touring Car champion Andy Priaulx will contest the LM GTE Pro category with former WTCC team mate Augusto Farfus.

Heading up the commentary team for British Eurosport, Martin Haven will be joined by motorsport journalists Mark Cole, Jeremy Shaw and Neville Hay and former driver Chris Parsons among others. Endurance drivers Stuart Hall and Liz Halliday, who have both contested Le Mans 24 Hours, will be alongside them. The team will be on-site throughout the event, guiding viewers through the world's oldest endurance race.
