James Calado suffers possible concussion: Car heavily damaged and may withdraw
The hits just keep on coming at Le Mans.

During the second round of qualifying at Le Mans, there were multiple incidents. James Calado was driving the No. 71 AF Corse Ferrari when he crashed in the Porsche Curves. Yes, the Porsche Curves again.
We all know about the Audi incident in that same corner yesterday but also, Fernando Rees suffered minor injuries after crashing his Aston Martin in the Porsche Curves last night. In fact, the Craft-Bamboo Racing team has since withdrawn from the event
GP2 race winner Calado was reported as being 'a bit confused' after the accident. He was placed on a stretcher and taken to a local hospital. He is believed to have a concussion and if that is the case, don't expect him to race this weekend.
There are rumblings that the No. 71 AF Corse Ferrari that he was driving will be forced to withdraw from the event as well. If so, that would drop the field down to 53 cars; the lowest car count at Le Mans since 2006.
UPDATE: Pierre Kaffer will replace Calado in this weekend's race. Also, the team has been giving clearance by race officials to run a new chassis.
