Confirmed Participation for 24 Hours of Le Mans

Pierre Ehret's participation for the 24 Hours of Le Mans was not clear for a long time. But since this weekend it is a fact that he will participate together with his teammates Dominik Farnbacher and Lars Erik Nielsen.

The circumstances for getting into the race were a bit tricky. Due to the high enrollment of teams, "Farnbacher Racing" was last on the reserve list, really not having a chance getting their entry confirmed. But the spanish team "Icer Brakes" damaged its Ferrari F430 GT during the last race of the Le Mans Series at Spa-Francorchamps so badly that it had to withdraw its accepted entry to the 24 Hours of Le Mans on 17th/18th June . Seikel Motorsport having been ahead on the reserve list before Farnbacher Racing, saw its entry being confirmed as a result of Icer Brakes withdrawal. The trio Dominik Farnbacher, Lars Erik Nielsen und Pierre Ehret will start with their Porsche 996 GT3 RSR with the Farnbacher-Crew under the "Seikel Motorsport" name.

The official testing day was already held on the 4th of July at Le Mans. Using Yokohama tyres, the team was able to dial in its setup, and placed the seventh best time on the 13.65 kilometres long track in the GT category.
