26th Annual Chili Bowl Tickets On Sale!

TULSA, Okla. (February 11, 2011) -- What ranks as perhaps the most thrilling edition of the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals took place at the QuikTrip Center's Tulsa Expo Raceway just a few short weeks ago.

Now, race fans can begin making plans for 2012, as tickets for the 26th Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals, set for January 10-14, 2012, are on sale. Ticket holders from last month's Silver Anniversary Chili Bowl event have until April 29 to renew tickets for the 26th edition.

Tickets for four nights are available for $185 via cash or check, or $189 with Visa, Mastercard or Discover. All five nights of racing action, Tuesday through Saturday, are just $228 with cash or check or $233 via credit card.

Any tickets not renewed by the April 29 deadline will be filled by new orders on a first-come, first-served basis, with new ticket requests accepted at any time. New orders will be filled based upon availability, increasing the impetus upon placing new orders as early as possible.

Tickets are available by calling the Chili Bowl ticket office at 918-838-3777 or online at www.chilibowl.com.

Last month, Kevin Swindell became the first back-to-back winner in 25 years of Chili Bowl competition with a thrilling last-corner pass of his father and five-time Chili Bowl king Sammy Swindell, bringing the capacity crowd to its feet.

Kevin Swindell became just the fifth driver to earn multiple Chili Bowl wins along with Sammy Swindell and other two-time winners Tony Stewart, Cory Kruseman and Don Boorse. Another 12 drivers have claimed one Chili Bowl triumph including Damion Gardner, Tim McCreadie, Tracy Hines, Jay Drake, Billy Boat, Donnie Beechler, Andy Hillenburg, Dave Blaney, Lealand McSpadden, Jon Heydenreich, Scott Hatton and Rich Vogler.
