De Angelis, 31, suffered a head injury, lung contusion and numerous fractures after an incident in Free Practice 4 at Motegi.
He remained in a Japanese hospital since his accident, but is set to be transferred to his native San Marino this Sunday.
"Finally, if all goes in the right way, I’ll return back home," de Angelis said. "Of course, I will not really in my house, but in the State Hospital of San Marino, but there I’ll meet again all my friends and I can finally talk again in Italian with the health care personnel.
"I am very sorry for what happened because I wanted to have a beautiful Asian trip, but in the end all went well, because while I have hard injuries, it is nothing that will prevent me from continuing to race and for this I’m happy.
"From when I get home, it’s waiting for me a long and difficult rehabilitation, but there is the time and the desire to return on the saddle as soon as I can.
"Right now I don’t want to forget anyone once again thanking all those who have sent me messages – millions – on both personal and social media. Knowing that there are many people who want you back in action is fantastic in these difficult times.
"Staying stuck in bed all the time is boring, but every second spent on reading a message was an enjoyable time. I will be back soon!"
