Day two under the floodlights at the Losail International circuit for the final MotoGP test before the season gets underway and the rest of the MotoGP field are chasing factory Ducati riders Andrea Iannone and Andrea Dovizioso who dominated the first day with both riders taking first and second place on the timing sheets on the Ducati GP15.

The Italian pair continue to improve on the all-new machinery and following 50 laps under the floodlights Iannone set a best lap of 1m 55.265s with Dovi close behind. Finishing in third place today was reigning MotoGP champion Marc Marquez who couldn’t make his Repsol Honda RC213V match the pace of the Ducatis.

Team Suzuki Ecstar will be very pleased with Aleix Espargaro's performance today with the Spaniard setting the fourth fastest time on the GSX-RR (1m 55.698s) while Dani Pedrosa jumped into 5th late in the session.

The first of the Movistar Yamaha riders on the timing sheets today is Jorge Lorenzo in 6th place and .563s off the front while CWM LCR Honda's Cal Crutchlow had a very productive day finishing in 7th and ahead of seven times MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi with the Movistar Yamaha rider continuing to develop the fully seamless gearbox both he and Lorenzo wil use this year.

Monster Yamaha Tech 3 team’s Bradley Smith ended the day in 9th place and nearly identical time to Rossi while the final rider in the too ten today was Smith's compatriot Scott Redding on the Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS Team Honda machine.
