MotoGP's rookie class of 2019 looks strong, and includes one fallen star whose career collapse raised eyebrows. Now he has the chance to remind the series why he was once considered the next Marc Marquez.

In MotoGP's 2019 rookie class, there is an odd man out. It's not the Moto2 points leader or his nearest rival, neither is it the current Moto3 champion who has performed strongly in his rookie year.

In a new crop of riders including Ducati-contracted future Pramac rider Pecco Bagnaia, Tech 3 KTM recruit Miguel Oliveira, Suzuki's latest Spanish prodigy Joan Mir, it's Fabio Quartararo who stands out.
