Andrea Dovizioso scored his second win of the 2018 MotoGP season at Brno to re-ignite his title challenge
It was Valentino Rossi who led the early stages of the race, before Dovizioso, Jorge Lorenzo and Marc Marquez surged ahead and initiated a thrilling three-way fight for victory.
Dovizioso held off the advances of Lorenzo to take a narrow 0.178s victory, while Marquez had to settle for third.
Rossi managed to repass Cal Crutchlow on the final lap to finish fourth and remain Marquez’s closest challenger in the championship.

India hosted a round of the Asia Road Racing Championship for the third year in a row and for the second time at the Madras Motor Race Track in Chennai.
Former MotoGP rider Anthony West dominated the flagship Supersport 600cc category, scoring a double over the weekend.
The home favourite Honda Racing India team finished on the podium in both races, courtesy of Taiga Hada.
There were also two India riders on the grid, Rajiv Sethu and Anish Shetty, both competing for Honda Racing India in the mid-tier Asia Production 250cc class.
Sethu scored points on Saturday with a season-best 13th place finish, before technical issues prevented him from replicating that result in Race 2.
Shetty was unfortunate to crash out from the first race of the weekend and the injuries so sustained meant that he wasn’t in the best physical shape for Race 2.

With Arvin Esmaeili dropping out of contention and on-the-road winner Pavan Ravishankar handed a time penalty for jumping the start, Mahadik was promoted to second.
Maini, likewise, catapulted from 10th to fifth in the opening laps before making further headways to secure his eighth podium of the season.
