Canadian Racing Star Ron Fellows To Provide Analysis

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (July 16, 2010) -- NASCAR announced today the broadcast team for the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 Jumpstart 100 event, scheduled for Saturday, July 17 at Toronto's Exhibition Place, that will be telecast live on TSN and TSN HD.

Canadian racing star and part-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Ron Fellows headlines the on-air crew and will be joined by Vic Rauter, Dave Bradley and Todd Lewis.

Fellows, a road-course ace and veteran of 21 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series events, is very familiar with the 11-turn, 1.721-mile temporary road course fashioned from the streets of Toronto and will be able to provide unique insight into what NASCAR Canadian Tire Series competitors are facing as they try to win the series' inaugural Toronto event.

Rauter is a long-time staple in TSN's coverage of motorsports and an avid supporter of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series since its inception in 2007. He also has anchored TSN's curling coverage for more than 20 years and has been an integral part of their Olympic broadcasts since joining TSN in 1985.

Bradley and Lewis are regulars on the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series race programs, produced by James Robinson Associates Ltd., that are telecast on TSN on a tape-delayed basis throughout the season. Bradley handles the play-by-play duties while Lewis provides reports from pit road.

TSN's coverage for the Toronto event will commence at 2:30 p.m. ET with the Jumpstart 100 taking the green flag at 2:45 p.m.

It will be the first of two live telecasts for the series in 2010. The August 29 race at Montreal's legendary Circuit Gilles Villeneuve also will be broadcast live on TSN leading into its coverage of the NASCAR Nationwide Series event in Montreal. RDS, a French-language sister station to TSN, will also carry live coverage of the Montreal event.

As Canada's leading sports broadcaster, TSN has been home to the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series for each its four seasons, in addition to, being Canadian broadcast home for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Nationwide Series events.
