Atlanta Rewind: Bliss and Team Make Strong Statement in First Start of Season ... Bliss and BAM Racing made a strong statement in qualifying for the Kobalt Tools 500 when Bliss earned a career-best ninth-place NEXTEL Cup Series starting position for both himself and the team. The last of the "go-or-go home" cars to make a qualifying attempt, Bliss stunned the racing community and a national viewing audience when he ran at pole speed until going into turn-three on both laps. The team ran a competitive race on Sunday capturing a 21st place finish. In owner points, the team moved up to the 43rd position just 99 points outside of the top-35 in the standings.

Bliss at Bristol Motor Speedway ... Bliss has a notable record at Bristol Motor Speedway. In the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, he has two top-five and three top-10 starts with one top-10 and three top-15 finishes. In the NASCAR Busch Series, he has three top-20 starts and one top-five finish in five starts.
