Notes: This is the combination of left- and right-side tires that NASCAR Nextel Cup and Busch Series teams ran at Bristol in March . . . Cup teams have also run this combination earlier this season at Las Vegas, Pocono and Indianapolis, making this the sixth and final race with these codes in 2004 . . . Bristol is unique in that it is the only major NASCAR track less than one mile in length where inner liners are required . . . however, teams will run Goodyear's tubeless safety spare in only the right-side tires at Bristol, as compared to in all four tire positions on speedways . . . inner liner inflation should be 12-25 psi higher than that of the outer tire.

Goodyear Quote -- Mark Keto, Lead Engineer, Stock Car Tire Development: "Coming into this season, Bristol was scheduled for one of the most dramatic tire set-up changes over 2003. The new set-up features our new, softer construction package and softer compounds on both sides. We saw good performance earlier this season at Bristol, and we expect more of the same this weekend."
