Notes: NASCAR Nextel Cup and Busch Series teams will be running different tire codes at Daytona this weekend . . . Cup teams will be running the same tire set-up they ran at Daytona in February. . . Busch Series teams will be running the Talladega tire set-up from this past April . . . the Busch cars run a larger fuel cell than the Cup cars at Daytona and can go farther on a set of tires, therefore Goodyear decided to bring a more wear resistant tire set-up for them . . . as on all NASCAR ovals greater than one mile in length, teams in both series are required to run inner liners in all four tire positions at Daytona . . . air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.
