CHARLOTTE, NC--FitzBradshaw Racing, owned by NASCAR veteran Armando Fitz and Pro Football Hall of Fame member and Emmy winning broadcaster Terry Bradshaw, has secured a new primary sponsor for the 2003 NASCAR Busch Series and Winston Cup Series seasons, the team announced today.

The United States Navy (Navy) has signed a limited nine-race schedule with FitzBradshaw Racing. The inaugural race is this weekend's Busch Series Carquest Auto Parts 300.

NASCAR fan favorite Casey Atwood will pilot the No. 82 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. Atwood has spent the beginning of the 2003 season away from the track and is eager to resume racing.

"The opportunity to be back in the driver's seat is great," stated Atwood. "And driving for the Navy and FitzBradshaw Racing is an ideal situation in which to accelerate my career."

FitzBradshaw Racing earned the coveted sponsor's approval early last week and has been working tirelessly to ready the car and crew for this weekend.

"Everybody with FitzBradshaw is pleased about gaining the Navy as a sponsor," stated Fitz. "I know my partner Terry is especially pleased as he just returned from Germany on a USO Tour and because his father was in the Navy."

"Adding cars and sponsors has been one of the main goals of FitzBradshaw Racing since its inception in late 2001," stated Bradshaw. "As I've said before, NASCAR teams are built sponsor by sponsor, race by race. This is our second year and we continue to attract new sponsors and maintain our existing ones. We offer branding options that are unique to this sport and desired by marketers."

"The Navy is proud to associate with FitzBradshaw Racing," said Rear Adm. Steven J. Tomaszeski, Commander Navy Personnel Command. "Armando Fitz has years of experience in the racing business and Terry Bradshaw has a hall of fame reputation as a winner at every endeavor he takes on. Experience and a reputation for winning are synonymous with the Navy."

FitzBradshaw sponsors that have renewed for the 2004 season include Supercuts, which renewed for 20 Busch Series races, and Hot Tamales, which renewed for 10 Busch Series races. The 2004 season will be the third season with both of the sponsors partnering with FitzBradshaw Racing.

United States Navy
Increasing popularity of NASCAR throughout the years has led the Navy to partner with this fast-growing sport, as we reach our target audience of 18-25 year olds. The Navy views this relationship with FitzBradshaw Racing as an excellent opportunity to recruit the nearly 50,000 new young men and women needed for naval service each year.

The United States Navy provides excellent opportunities for young men and women to serve their country in today's high-tech Navy environment. There are many different career fields, ranging from medical to engineering to law enforcement, where you can serve in the enlisted ranks or in the officer corps in the Regular or Reserve component of the Navy. You can join a winning team and "Accelerate your life" while defending the nation in the surface, submarine or aviation communities. FitzBradshaw
In November of 2001, NASCAR owner Armando Fitz announced his ownership partner, Pro Football Hall of Fame member and Emmy winning broadcaster, Terry Bradshaw. Bradshaw wanted to have ownership in a NASCAR team and joined forces with Fitz to create FitzBradshaw Racing.

Successful sponsorship procurement enabled the young team, with driver Kerry Earnhardt, to commit to a full-season Busch Series schedule in 2002, along with several Winston Cup Series races.

FitzBradshaw Racing collected five Top-10 finishes in the 2002 season, including a second-place showing at Kansas Speedway. The team posted a total of fourteen Top-20 finishes.

This year, the team fields three cars: the Busch Series No. 12 Chevrolet Monte Carlo with primary sponsors Supercuts, Jani-King and Hot Tamales; the Busch Series No. 82 Chevrolet Monte Carlo with primary sponsors Navy and Jani-King; and the No. 83 Chevrolet Monte Carlo with primary sponsors Supercuts, Super Hot Hot Tamales and Aaron's Rents in select Winston Cup Series races.

Dale Earnhardt, Inc. (DEI) supports FitzBradshaw Racing with engines, aero support and engineering direction.
