Foyt To Attempt Double Duty in Daytona ... Larry Foyt will attempt to compete in both the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race at Daytona International Speedway with BAM Racing as well as the Busch Series race with Mac Hill Motorsports. Firehouse Subs, founded in Jacksonville, Fla. by former firefighting brothers Robin and Chris Sorensen, will serve as an associate sponsor on both cars.

Although Foyt has not competed in NASCAR racing this season, he has accumulated many hours on the track testing at superspeedways in support of Dodge Motorsports. BAM Racing will unload chassis # 33 in Daytona. This is the same car that qualified on time for the October race at Talladega Superspeedway in 2006.

He has two NEXTEL Cup Series start at the 2.5-mile tri-oval with a track best starting position of 26th (07/05/03) and an average start of 33.5. Foyt has a best finish of 28th (02/15/04) at the superspeedway with an average finish of 31.0.

"I am very excited to have this opportunity with BAM Racing and to represent Paralyzed Veterans of America this weekend," said Foyt. "We are bringing a car with proven success at superspeedways. That, combined with the testing I have done, makes me very confident that we will qualify for the race this weekend."
