Dover II: Dodge teams "keys to success"

Keys to Success: Camping World RV 400 -- Dover International Speedway

DOVER, Del. (Sept. 20, 2008) -- Each race weekend, random Dodge Motorsports crew chiefs, drivers, engine specialists and team members will give their insight on the 'keys to success' for the upcoming race. This week, the green flag drops at the one-mile oval of Dover International Speedway for the Camping World 400 presented by AAA.

Kasey Kahne (Driver, No, 9 Budweiser Dodge Charger) "The key is having a car that can still handle well 30-40 laps into a run and staying out of trouble. Dover is an easy place to get in trouble and once you are in trouble, it's a place that can end your day in a hurry. It's definitely one of the more mentally and physically demanding tracks that we go to."

Bobby Labonte (Driver, No. 43 Cheerios/Betty Crocker Dodge Charger) "By now everyone has heard about shocks and bumpstops. It seems like we talk about them every week. They are critical at Dover, especially your front shocks. You're almost driving uphill when you come off the corners at Dover, then the car settles really hard on the front shocks. The shock guy will be one of the most important crew members this weekend."

Ryan Newman (Driver, No. 12 Alltel Dodge Charger) "Dover is a physically demanding track, so by the end of the day you have had quite a work out. But more importantly, it is a really fun track to drive. It's really unique how you drop off into the corners and then climb up the hills onto the straightaways. At Dover, the entry into the corners is the toughest part. If you don't get a good entry, you're not going to have a good middle or a good exit."
