Menard on racing at Indianapolis Motor Speedway:
"I can remember for years going to Indianapolis Motor Speedway for either the 500 or the Brickyard race. Racing at Indy has been a part of my family for a long time. This weekend, I know that Larry (Carter) and all the guys have put together a really good No. 98 Johns Manville / Menards Ford Fusion. We had a really good run going in Chicago a couple weeks ago, and unfortunately we weren't able to showcase what I felt was one of the best cars I've had all season. Hopefully, this weekend at Indy we can make it up.
"We have a lot going on this weekend with an autograph session in Fisher, Ind., on Thursday night, and then a dinner with Johns Manville, who does a lot this weekend at the Brickyard on Saturday night. Overall, it should be a great weekend of racing."
Crew chief Larry Carter on racing at Indianapolis Motor Speedway:
"After a weekend off I know all the guys on the No. 98 Menards team are rested and ready to get back out there. Our Ford Racing teams have done a lot of testing at Indy over the last year, and I feel confident we'll put on a great show for the fans. They have the tire in a position where it will last the entire fuel run and make the race pretty competitive. Hopefully, we can have a couple good days of practice, earn ourselves a solid starting position and go out there have a great run for Paul (Menard) and all the guys on the No. 98 Menards team."
