Lepage, LJ score one-race deal with Fluidyne

FONTANA, Calif. (May 1, 1998) LJ Racing, Inc., announced today that Fluidyne Automotive Products, a program of Performance Distribution Incorporated (PDI), has signed on as a sponsor for the May 3 California 500 presented by NAPA at California Speedway. The hood of LJ Racing's Chevrolet, driven by Raybestos Rookie of the Year contender, Kevin Lepage, will feature the Fluidyne Automotive Products logo.

"We are very excited about the sponsorship, and the opportunity to increase awareness of PDI's premium products," team owner Joe Falk said. "The LJ Racing team uses Fluidyne Racing Products that are now being made available to race fans through the Fluidyne Automotive Products brand."

Michael Cochran, President and CEO of PDI, chose NASCAR and LJ Racing to promote PDI's products because "NASCAR fans are brand loyal and every fan owns an automobile, which means they can benefit from using our products. We provide the same high quality products to the aftermarket that we have been supplying to the racing market for years."

PDI provides product distribution, marketing and consulting for four major programs: Fluidyne Automotive Products, NOS Chemicals, Boyds Ultra Violet Premium Car Care Products, and Samsonite Automotive Accessories. Fluidyne Automotive Products consist of heat transfer components (i.e. transmission and engine oil coolers).

The same performance that is achieved through Fluidyne Racing Products is now available to the aftermarket, and can be purchased at local AutoZone stores, as well as other fine automotive retailers. NOS Chemicals are a line of octane booster chemicals which enhance engine performance and are sold at many fine automotive retailers. Boyds Ultra Violet Premium Car Care Products, a line consisting of auto shampoo, waxes, cleaners and polishes, can be found at major auto parts retailers.
