Centrix Financial Announces NASCAR Nextel Cup Team Partnership:

- Associate Sponsorship position on MB2/MBV Motorsports' No. 01 U.S. Army Racing team and No. 10 Valvoline Racing team

- Primary Sponsorship on third MB2/MBV car driven by Boris Said at Dodge/Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway and one additional race to be determined

CENTENNIAL, Colo. -- April 30, 2004 -- CENTRIX Financial, LLC, the Official Auto Finance Company of NASCAR, today announced an agreement to serve as an associate sponsor for the MB2/MBV Motorsports No. 01 and No. 10 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup cars, driven by Joe Nemechek and Scott Riggs, respectively. The association will begin at this weekend's Auto Club 500 race at California Speedway in Fontana.

CENTRIX Financial also announced that it will serve as primary sponsor of a third MB2/MBV Chevrolet, to be driven by road-racing specialist Boris Said, June 27 in the Nextel Cup race at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, Calif., and at an additional Cup race to be determined.

The sponsorship arrangement comes three weeks after CENTRIX Financial announced its official NASCAR sponsorship status.

"When we announced our sponsorship with NASCAR we also clearly stated our support of the grassroots racing culture that has made NASCAR the phenomenon that it is today," said Robert E. Sutton, chairman and chief executive officer of CENTRIX Financial. This team and these three drivers have the dedication, talent and winning mindset that we want to be associated with. I look forward to a wonderful relationship and continued and growing success on the track."

Jay Frye, chief executive officer and general manager of MB2/MBV Motorsports, was equally excited about the new association. "CENTRIX and MB2/MBV have forged a winning partnership," said Frye. "As a business, they represent what we try accomplish on the track week in and week out. Their success is built on the management of risk, the utilization of technology and the spirit of teamwork. We are very excited to have a sponsor that so clearly understands what it takes to win in business and in racing."

Nemechek, driver of the No. 01 U.S. Army car, is a 10-year veteran of NASCAR's premier series, securing six pole positions since 1994. Last year, he won the Pontiac Excitement 400 at Richmond International Raceway.

Riggs made his NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series debut this season as the driver of the No. 10 Valvoline car. Riggs has raced in both the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and NASCAR Busch Series.

Said won his first NASCAR race at Infineon Raceway in 1997 while competing in the Craftsman Truck Series. At last year's Cup event at Infineon, he placed the MB2 U.S. Army car on the pole and went on to finish sixth in the Dodge/Save Mart 350.

As a result of winning the pole, Said was invited to compete in February's prestigious Budweiser Shootout at Daytona International Speedway and posted an impressive 10th-place finish.

Said's extensive racing background includes winning Rookie of the Year in the SCCA Corvette Challenge in 1988, taking the GT2 pole at Le Mans in 1994, winning the Rolex 24 at Daytona in 1997 and 1998 and winning the 2002 SCCA Trans Am championship.
