Jerry Nadeau's New Hampshire International Speedway Driving Guide --
"I don't think going back to New Hampshire with a restrictor plate is the right call, but NASCAR had to do something. I know the speeds may be down 10 to 15 mph because of the plate, but we'll actually be going faster in the turns than we ever have. We'll be driving in (to the corners) a lot harder than we ever would have before. You're not going to have as much power, so you are going to want to drive it in a lot deeper. The guys in the Hendrick engine shop are working hard -- that's the biggest task right now -- making sure we can get enough horsepower out of the cars with the restrictor plate.

"But I actually think it is going to be fun. I think this will put everybody on a more equal playing field and whoever can adapt the fastest will be the best. The MichaelHoligan.com Chevy was a good car the last time we were at New Hampshire and we finished fourth. We may make a couple of changes to the car before we go, but other than that, I think we've got a good chance at having another good race."

Viggy's Dining Guide -- Nadeau's motorcoach driver, John "Viggy" Vignona, is a self-proclaimed connoisseur of the restaurants near each of the NASCAR Winston Cup Series tracks. The Long Island, N.Y., native has two recommendations in the Loudon, N.H., area -- one for dinner and one for dessert.

"M&J's in Laconia (N.H.) is one of Vignona's favorite restaurants on the circuit, next to Joe's when we go to Watkins Glen (N.Y.)," Vignona explained. "The guy who runs it used to be a chef for a hospitality rig on the CART circuit and the food is incredible. When it comes out, the presentation is so beautiful, you know it's going to taste killer -- definitely five steering wheels. "After dinner, we'll go about a quarter mile further up Highway 106 to Jordan's ice cream stand. These northern ice cream stands are incredible. The ice cream is so killer that it makes you moan while you're eating it. I'll be getting fat on ice cream from the time I get into New Hampshire on Monday until I leave for Dover (Del.). Jordan's gets five-plus steering wheels, it's so good."
