No. 99 Roush Racing team message to US Troops

Huntersville, N.C. (March 18, 2003) -- As the United States draws closer to war, the No. 99 CITGO Racing team wanted to send their wishes to all the troops both at home and overseas. Here is what they had to say: Jeff Burton , driver of the No.

Huntersville, N.C. (March 18, 2003) -- As the United States draws closer to war, the No. 99 CITGO Racing team wanted to send their wishes to all the troops both at home and overseas. Here is what they had to say:

Jeff Burton , driver of the No. 99 CITGO Ford
"Our well wishes go out to all the troops and their families in this time of crisis. We appreciate all you do for our great country to keep us safe and allow us to live freely. Stay safe and come home soon."

Pierre Kuettel , car chief
"Take no prisoners. We're extremely proud of you. You're living up to your duty for your country which is commendable."

Eric Slade , shock specialist/catch can
"You will always be in our thoughts and prayers and I hope all of you come home safe. We appreciate what you are doing more than words can say."

Joe Wernert , truck driver
"I hope everyone comes home safe and carries out a safe mission. We appreciate all you do to defend our country. God Bless America."

Richard Boyles , rear tire changer
"My grandfather was in WWII on Iwo Jima in the fourth Marines so I'm a big supporter of our military and their efforts overseas. Our thoughts and prayers are with the troops and their families and we hope they come home quickly and safely."
