Bill Wilburn to Resume Over-The-Wall Duties
--All-Pro Tire Changer Teams Up With Old Friend Once Again --

MOORESVILLE, NC (March 11, 2004)--Long-time Penske Racing South crewman Bill Wilburn, once a tire changer for Rusty Wallace, is returning to that race day role starting with Sunday's Golden Corral 500 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Wilburn, who was Wallace's crew chief in 2003 and became the assembly shop foreman for Brendan Gaughan this year, will be the front-tire changer on Wallace's Miller Lite Dodge.

Regarding the change, Wallace said, "I am so excited to have Billy Wilburn back with the #2 car. He's a great friend of mine; he always has been and always will be. Billy is still the best tire changer in the garage and I'm ecstatic about having him pit our car."

D.J. Richardson, who has been the front tire changer, has been moved to the rear-tire changer position.

Dave Littau is now the front tire carrier, while Andy Brown will carry the rear tires.

Dave Cox remains the team's jackman, while Doug Ingold continues as gasman. Nick Giambruno will still handle catch can duties.

Wilburn will continue in his current role with Gaughan in addition to his new duties.

The changes were made after problems during pit stops at the UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway dropped Wallace out of the top 10, costing him a shot at the victory.
