Notes: Because cars turn both right and left on road courses, teams run the same tire (D-5704) on both sides of the car . . . Goodyear has brought this particular tire (D-5704) to both NASCAR Winston Cup Series road courses beginning in 2000 . . . that makes this the seventh consecutive road course race Winston Cup teams will have used this tire set-up, including the fourth straight at Sears Point . . . this tire is also used as the right-side tire at Martinsville (Winston Cup and Craftsman Truck Series) and South Boston (Craftsman Truck Series only) . . . teams do not run inner liners at Sears Point . . . just in case of rainy conditions, Goodyear will have 1,200 of its wet weather tires (D-5648) on hand this weekend at Sears Point.
