NASCAR Drivers Keselowski, Smith to Test at Infineon Raceway
SONOMA, Calif. (April 9, 2010) -- NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers Brad Keselowski and Regan Smith will take part in test sessions next week at Infineon Raceway in preparation for the Toyota/Save Mart 350, June 18-20.
Keselowski (No. 12 Penske Dodge) will test the 10-turn, 1.99-mile road course on Tuesday, April 13, while Smith (No. 78 Furniture Row Chevrolet) will visit the circuit on Wednesday, April 14. Both will test in late-model stock cars provided by a Northern California-based race team.
Smith placed 30th in his only NASCAR Sprint Cup Series visit to Infineon Raceway in 2007; this will mark Keselowski's first race in Sonoma.
Smith will be coached by road-course veteran Chris Cook, who has also worked with NASCAR drivers Joey Logano and Los Gatos' AJ Allmendinger, among others.
